Course delivery
Courses are offered as a face-to-face course. Pre-course learning is required for all courses.
Course duration

Pre-requisites
There are no formal prerequisite units required for entry into our courses. Learners will require English language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills. If you are unsure about if our courses are right for you, please contact us.
Entry requirements
Learners undertaking any of our express courses must have previously completed the relevant course, without it expiring. Learners will be required to provide a copy of their expiring Statement of Attainment on the day of their face-to-face course. If you want to check your eligibility, please contact us before booking.
Training requirements
All our nationally recognised courses require face to face training which consists of theory presentations and range of practical learning activities and scenarios.
Assessment requirements
For all of our courses, assessment activities will include a knowledge test and practical assessments including CPR and First Aid techniques and completion of documentation. Students will also complete scenarios in a simulated environment.
Course renewal requirements
The statement of attainment is valid for 3 years*.
*Please note that the CPR component of the training is valid for 12 months and should be updated annually.
